Ruined Appetite takes classic horror movies and redesigns their originally theater posters to work across streaming services as well. Streaming services are now our primary source of consuming media. The small title cards you scroll through on Netflix put a lot of pressure on the media to stand out based on its name alone, leading to a focus on the way we use typography. Inspired by Marley Soden’s tactile lettering, I wanted to explore typography away from the digital by using physical items.
